NEW YORK CITY: FOOD GUIDE

I just got back from a much needed vacation to my all time favorite city, and to no surprise, had the most amazing time. My visits to the city usually consist of shopping, walking, and eating approximately 5 meals a day. So, clearly I found it quite fitting to share with you my favorite places to grab a bite in NYC.

Breakfast:

Sarabeth's Kitchen- I can't help but look forward to putting on the most girly dress and going to breakfast at this classic restaurant. Must Try: Goat cheese and spinach omelet or Lemon Ricotta Pancakes.

The Smith- Two words. Avocado Toast. I've only been for breakfast but I've heard it kills all three meals of the day.

Lunch:

Taim- I love hitting up this crowded little restaurant whenever I'm shopping in the West Village. Best falafel I've had aside from the real thing in Israel. Must Try: Ginger Mint Lemonade and Falafel (obviously)

2nd Avenue Deli- Of course I have to mention the greatest kosher deli in New York City because it is a must have whether you're Jewish or not. Must Try: Pastrami sandwich and Motzoh Ball Soup.

Jack's Wife Frida- Is this bowl not the most beautiful thing you have ever seen? And I truly have no idea what was in it. One of my new favorite places to eat in the city.

Dinner:

Buddakan- If you don't automatically think Carrie Bradshaw's engagement party when you see this pictures, you seriously need to reevaluate your life. That might have been more exciting for me than the food, but this loud, fun restaurant is definitely one of my favorites. Must Try: Edamame Dumplings

Artichoke- I ate Artichoke pizza at around 2 in the morning after attending Governor's Ball music festival so anything would have probably satisfied my taste buds, but this was quite the slice of New York style pizza. Must Try: Artichoke Pizza

Dessert:

Big Gay Ice Cream- This quirky little ice cream shop is beyond heavenly. The salty pimp ice cream cone is the perfect combination between salty and sweet, and this sprinkle covered cone was clearly for the picture. Must Try: Salty Pimp

Baked by Melissa- Even though I could probably consume about 25 of these no-guilt bite sized cupcakes while spending way too much money, I never leave NYC without a large amount. Adorable and tasty, what more could one ask for?

Magnolia Bakery- While I have always adored magnolia bakery for their sweet treats and Sex and the City approved cupcakes, I was left speechless after my most recent visit to the bakery. I ran into a friend who told me that it was a must that I got the famous banana pudding, and I was not at all disappointed. This was hands down one of the greatest things I have eaten in the city, and I 100% recommend that you try it. Must Try: Banana Pudding

Thank you so much for reading. Until next time... Georgia
